Standard Warranty Period

Vinatech US provides the following standard warranty periods for products supplied by Vinatech:

  • 36 months for supermarket steel shelving products;
  • 12 months for slotted angle shelving, warehouse racking systems, pallet racking systems, and related warehouse storage solutions.

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery, installation completion, or project handover, depending on the terms agreed upon between Vinatech US and the customer.

What This Warranty Policy Covers

This limited warranty covers defects that are directly related to manufacturing, materials, or workmanship under normal and proper use.

Covered items may include:

  • Manufacturing defects in racking components, including uprights, beams, braces, base plates, connectors, safety locks, and related accessories;
  • Structural issues caused by material or manufacturing defects;
  • Workmanship issues directly related to installation performed or approved by Vinatech US;
  • Components that fail to meet the agreed specifications under approved load capacity and proper operating conditions;
  • Surface finishing defects caused by production, coating, or galvanizing process errors.

What Is Not Covered (Exclusions):

  • Damage resulting from improper use, including overloading beyond the specified weight limits.
  • Damage caused by collisions from forklifts or other warehouse vehicles.
  • Any modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by personnel not authorised by Vinatech US.
  • Surface rust or corrosion resulting from environmental conditions or scratches after installation.
  • Normal wear and tear from daily operations.
  • Products that were not installed by Vinatech US or a certified installation partner.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain product performance, warehouse safety, and warranty eligibility, customers are responsible for using and maintaining the racking system properly.

Customers are expected to:

  1. Cease Use: Immediately cease using the affected section of the racking system to ensure staff safety.
  2. Contact Us: Notify the Vinatech Australia team as soon as possible by calling (346) 299-8904.
  3. Provide Details: Please provide your original invoice number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic evidence of the potential defect.
  4. Assessment: Our technical team will review your claim and may schedule a site inspection to assess the situation thoroughly.
  5. Resolution: If the issue is determined to be a result of a manufacturing defect or faulty installation covered by this warranty, Vinatech US will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective components in a timely manner at no cost to you.
